Christophe de la Fontaine was born in 1976 in Luxembourg, where he graduated as a sculptor at the high school des Arts et Métiers. From 1996-2002 he studied industrial design under Richard Sapper at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. After a trip to London, Milan and Munich took over the design department from 2003 to 2010 at the Patricia Urquiola studio in Milan. At the same time, he works independently and participates in numerous art and design exhibitions. In 2010 he opened his own design studio Christophe de la Fontaine Industrial Design. Among his clients: Moroso, Rosenthal and FormAgenda. In 2012 he co-founded the brand DANTE - MERCE & BADS with the artist Aylin Langreuter.
